Design Consistency Work Items — Historical Record

Design Consistency Work Items — Historical Record

Status: All work items complete
Implementation period: July 15–16, 2026
Documentation refreshed: July 27, 2026

This document preserves the scope and outcome of the completed Just A Thought Blog design-consistency initiative.

The original version of this file functioned as an active checklist before implementation. It continued to show “Not started” statuses and unchecked acceptance criteria after the related pull requests had already merged. To avoid presenting completed work as unfinished, the record below summarizes the final status and directs maintainers to the implementation evidence.

For current guidance, use:

Deferred Work

The completed initiative intentionally deferred:

  • Newsletter implementation
  • Recorded podcast publishing
  • Category and topic archive pages
  • Individual per-series landing pages
  • Large-scale post-content rewriting
  • A separate inherited-template and legacy-CSS reduction project

These items are future roadmap candidates and should not be treated as incomplete DS-01 through DS-10 work.
