Implemented

  • Replaced the internal Homepage Hero label with reader-facing copy.
  • Removed the duplicated Latest Reflection label.
  • Standardized the Home page podcast name as Just A Thought — The Podcast.
  • Replaced the misleading Listen to the Podcast action with Explore the Podcast while the show is still in development.
  • Converted topic cards from dead href="#" links into non-interactive editorial cards.
  • Consolidated topic availability messaging into one explanatory note and one archive link.
  • Reduced repeated Coming Soon language in the topic, podcast, newsletter, and series areas.
  • Added an accessible label to the latest-post image link and marked decorative images appropriately.
  • Moved reusable Home-only inline styles into _sass/home-refinements.scss.
  • Added responsive refinements for the topic heading and featured-series rows.

  • All compiled Home links resolve to generated pages or intended page anchors.
  • No href="#" links remain on the Home page.
  • All six topic cards are non-interactive and excluded from keyboard focus.
  • The latest-post image link exposes the article title as its accessible name.
  • Hero, latest-post, topic, series, and podcast imagery loaded successfully in the rendered preview.
  • No unintended Home layout regression was observed in either theme at the tested widths.

Deferred

  • Topic archive pages remain out of scope.
  • Podcast launch and newsletter signup remain out of scope.
  • The remaining footer Coming soon language and placeholder form treatment are assigned to DS-03.
  • Broader navigation and footer changes remain in DS-03.
